Copy and paste all the files over back to your db folder, overwriting the old edited files.
If you don't know where the db (database) folder is, it can be located within the Sports Interactive --> Football Manager 2006 --> Data folders. You can find all this in your program files.

What the hell is the database folder and where is it?
Ive copied the back up files but I dont know where to paste them!
The football manager folder only has 'filters', 'games', 'matches', 'schduels' & 'tatics' folders. Where is data base folder?

Right, your main db is located in the following place:
Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db
The 'Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\' location may be different depending on where you installed it to but that is the default.

It comes with the game.
If you can't see it in the Start menu, then you can find it in the location you installed FM in.
