Not your usual Scout/MCM idea. NO release date question inside

Right, can you believe the amount of mongs that moan and whine about these utilities not being released yet?

Annoying mmmmkay?

Dont think this idea is to satisfy these ungrateful, ignorant and arrogant fools but here it is:

Nygreen is employed by SI, was recruited on the strength of his work with FM that he did independantly so how about getting future FM's released with the scout and mcm function already on it?
Dont have to be on the actual FM cd, could be released with the 1st copy of the FM magazine, i know these things take time to program and test and bug hunt and such, but maybe Nygreen and the guys at MC would benefit from this if its all done in one go.

I know SI would have to endorse this, but they're both well recieved utilities within the FM community so would that be a problem, or does SI just stand by the actual FM game with no add-ons?

This isnt an arrogant question so you mongs say what you like, just an idea that might help everyone concerned, INCLUDING those who are patient and grateful for the time and work put into something that, (insert your own opinion) enhances your gaming.

I would have some qualms about SI putting our utility on the cover of their magazine as they would sell it and profit from it.

Our work always has been free and putting it on CDs is not the way we wish to go. Plus I'm positive most of the people at SI wouldn't like anything like this to happen.

That said, I have no problems about my command line utility being added to such a magazine as I was always going to through the source out there eventually.

As for having future releases with the MCFM functionality already in place, that aint gonna happen!

I've been playing FM 06 since some time in August or early September and not once did I use it to work on MCFM. It just wouldn't have been right (to abuse the whole beta thing by wasting SI's time by selfishly making our editor instead of testing for them). That's the only way that we could be able to make something in time for release.

As for us following in the footsteps of Michael Nygreen and going to work for SI, whilst we'd all love to work for them, SI aren't currently taking on new staff, and besides, Graeme Kelly has already threatened to kill me once before! :p
