Hmm.. I see there is bit a bug with that error - it shows even when it's not supposed to. As long as the path is correct and present it will still use the custom location (even when the error shows). If it is incorrect then it defaults to the normal installed db.

FM does not use the install folder information at all. So it doesn't matter, as long as the path is correct (but see my previous post for the bug) - the 'db' folder has to exist for the current user running the game. If "Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2006" does not exist (which it may no do the first time the game runs), it is created. If the --database_location fails due ot the full path incorrect it reverts to the default db in the FM06 installation folder.

The exact location is:
cdocuments and settings\arnold\mijn documenten\sports interactive\football manager 2006\db\belned

the belned directory contains (a.o.) the server_db file

As long as you put 'belned' in the option and the folder and files are present on the disk, it will use this folder even if you get the error. See my post above.

Hey all,

There have been a few changes made to the utility over the last few days. This has resulted in the release of v1.4 of the FM Command Wizard!

Notably:

<LI> Automatic FM exe location detection
<LI> Ability to launch FM with the commands from the application
<LI> Ability to choose which skin you wish to use!


I will try and work on the db location as well if I have time in the next version.
