How do you swap Cray wanderers for Thurrock???
Cray are the 2nd oldest club in the world!
My editor does not seem to like what I am doing.
Is there an easy way to swap them?

well i just go to competions then the league u want them in then click the team u wana swap them with then search for cray wanderers then swap

You can create an .edt file with the command:

"SWAP_TEAMS" "Thurrock" "Cray Wanderers"

I just tested it and it worked for me :thup:

I guess you use notepad to make this right?
Can someone, tell me step by step as I am abit of a noob.

Yeah, use the notepad, copy & paste the command line in, name it what you want (ie bleh.edt), save as All Files. It goes in your Football Manager 2006/data/db folder.

When you start a new game, check that it's ticked in the preferences section and away you go.

AFAIK the oldest club in the world is Sheffield FC - not sure if they are in FM though

I have finally started my game with Cray Wanderers and hope to get them in the league soon!
Formed in 1860 so they must be doing something right.
