Hi. I don't really know much about computers or anything so I might sound thick but...

I've done everything it says in the manual to edit the game, but my changes are still not evident in any new game I run. When I go back to edit the database again the changes are there. I don't get it! Can anyone give me an idiots guide?

((Also, my match engine is slow and jerky and loading results is slow - any ideas? Someone suggested turning off the sound in another thread, does that mean just mute my volume or do I need to do something else?))
