I've been having a real problem with this the last few times I've started a new game.
I used the editor to place Celtic and Rangers in the English Premiership, but I did it legit, moving Derby and Birmingham back to the Championship and going right down the chain to the Conference before switching some Conference South Teams with some Junior teams in Scotland (Linlithgow Rose and Pollok) who found themselves in the Scottish Third Division, right up to Hamilton and Dundee being in the SPL.
This has created two problems. One, Hamilton and Dundee don't play any league games. The rest of the SPL plays each other and every season Hamilton get relegated on alphabetical order.
Two, Celtic and Rangers play in the Scottish Cup despite being in England. This caused my game to crash when my hard-earned Carling Cup semi-final with Tottenham was scheduled to happen at the same time as my third-round Scottish Cup game with Livingston.
Does anyone know any way I can fix it so that Celtic and Rangers don't have to be in the damn SC every season? It wasn't a problem in 2007...
have you changed celtic and rangers nationality to english, what i would do is have a look at Swansea or Wrexham who should in theory be in the welsh league and see how the editor has them set up for the competitions
