Every season I get to the same point - in contention for the title with five or six games to go, then a wall of draws, defeats, and no goals from my strikers. What am I doing wrong? I had the same problem on previous versions of the game - is it just that my players are getting tired? Then why do my rivals keep on winning?

This happens- try rotating the main players and using other squad players to make sure they are fresh for each game, even if the ones coming in are not apparantly as good as your starters.

I've never had this problem in previous versions but in this version it happens frequently. Changing tactics, changing the training and giving positive team talks don't do much.

I got annoyed and went on holiday for 3 weeks, all my results were great in that time i don't know why though. It's only a temporary soloution but you could try it. For some reason being on holiday just gives me good results, much better than previous versions and rather worringly better than my own efforts in the end of season lull.

I'm in my 5/6th season now and this complete collapse seems to happen at around the same point every season.

I've tried all manner of things to try sort it out, but nothing much happens.

I also have this problem, and I can't work out why. I rotate players and it doesn't seem to make a difference... tactically it doesn't seem to matter either, because I can leave the tactic the same, and the beginning of next season I'll be winning again. Very frustrating.

Read the sticky in the bible on re-ranking. it will tell you why you have a slump half way through a season or at the start of a new one.
