Quick target man/playmaker Question

In the option menu if you put 2 targetmen/playmakers in, will the team look to both or whichevers higher in the list if they're both on the pitch at the same time?

As far as I know playing with two target men at the same time is impossible. I've only used it with a one striker setup, but I've heard it cannot be done.
