Now this is another area I cant get me head round,in reading the info on here the main players to use as closing down is L/R Mid, DM if you got one some say one of the strikers, some say both, and one guy I admire said dont put full backs on closing down, now I know for a fact going down Edgar Street that the full backs do close down, and only tackle if the winger will try to go round him, before you answer and say Hereford are whatever, I think it happens in all divisions Anyway I was ranting there, what is the differnce between individual closing down and team closing down, in a nut shell
individual closing down overrides team closing down e.g. i put my team closing down at 1 but i put 1 of my ST's on 20 closing down, this means that my ST will close down according to his individual instruction, but the rest of the team will close down at setting 1, becuase their individual closing down instruction hasn't been altered.
so right if I put my 2 full backs on closing down, plus one of my strikers plus my 2 wingers to full closing down, + the rest on mixed & rarely, and then put team instructions closind down to wherever on the slider, the individual will over ride, I just cant see the point in having it it there if thats right.Im not having a go I just find the closing down very hard to grasp.
Just had a look at the booklet right on team instructions, ultra def, def norm, att, all out att, and its ditto for, Creativity little, ,norm, much. Passing Style short, direct, long, and so on,which is right, and gives you that option on the sliders now you come to Closing down in the booklet the options are :own area, own half or all over, now it it don't say that on my slider the options are rarely, normal or always.Help
