i had i file were craig gordon eventually went to barcelona for 30mil and was the highest valued goalkeeper but i have never had in for more than 1 season in a team he he extremely good?
Well there seems to be some discussion about his qualities, but I do think that he's probably one of the best goalkeepers in the game, and at the price point I guess only Ochoa and Ustari can be compared to his potential ability. I have him in my Man City team and in 09/10 season I won the Premiership with him in goal, him having 12 clean sheets and conceding 28 goals in 33 matches, which is rather good IMO. He is rather poor at kicking, so in the distribution aspect he would work best by being set to distribute the ball to the defenders. THese are his stats in 2010 at the start of the new season
One of the best you can get early on for good money and without WP problems in England (Ochoa and Ustari will take ages before they have enough caps). Akinfeev is great but fairly expensive.
Best young goalie in the game. Becomes better than all of the rest. Depending on the file Ustari, Akinfeev and Ochoa might become better, but usually he's the best. Takes him two seasons before reaching his potential and when he does Barca will be kicking themselves
