Right, I'm playing as Man City on the WeeGiE update. I came third in the first season and need to make some improvements to my team. I have 18m to spend. I need a LB, GK, CB, CMd, AMR.

LB: Needs to be a quality, first team capable lb good enough for the CL. Has to be better than Eric Edman who is going to be my back-up lb next season. Ideal situation I would be signing Chiellini but he is pricy.

GK: Needs to be quality aswell, has to be great, has to be better than Isaksson . I am looking at Amelia on a free but he is currently not interested, another target is Kameni.

CB: Just has to be back-up, has to be cheap, no more than £2-3m.

CMd: Another first team player needed here, Similar to Hamann but with added pace and acceleration.

AMR: I want one in a similar mould to Martin Petrov and with similar quality.

Any opinions, help and suggestions welcome.

LB : Vermaelen from Ajax, qualtiy for years

GK : Coupet from lyon (don't know price) but immense mate and he play untill 39-40 and still performing great

CB : Garay or Araujo

Cmd : didier digard has done the job for me in the past, or makoun (pricy though)

Amr : could get cardenas or gourcuff or vandenborre retrained is awesome as amr

First, something I left out of my first post, I'm not looking for youth or future greats at all, I have already invested heavily in that area of the squad, though I wont sign anybody over 30.

Vermaelen looks good but not much better than Edman and is lacking the attacking ability but I might even look into him for centre back.

Coupet has poor agility and would cost a lot of money so he's out.

I'm presuminng Garay is Ezequiel Garay. He could be a possibility as a back-up centre back. :thup:

Araujo? Which one, there are many.

Digard isn't good enough, Makoun looks good but as you say is pricey and lacking a bit of strength imo.

Borre looks good but had a dreadful season at fiorentina last season, playing 23 times and has an average rating of 5.87 :eek:

Gourcuff isn't really a winger and Cardenas isnt on my game as i didnt load all players from columbia.

For left back sign omar benzegra he can play lb or rb with some training and he is amazin.

Lucas at Liverpool, Bolatti in the prem? He's crap defensively. Ferguson not good enough and lacking pace.

Dalla Valle = youth

Who does bellushci play for? You either spelt his name wrong or he's not in my game.

Right I want no youth! No over 30! Champions League quality!

Pasqual: was after him last season but he went to porto.

Shorey: Not defensive or pysical enough. LB doesnt have to have attacking ability but it would be a bonus.

Traore = youth and I have him already. :p

GK:
Cant find Cavlieri.

Arenas not good enough.

Stekelenburg: Nice but still prefer Kameni or Amelia.

Frey: Probably too expensive.

CB:
Will look at cabral, seems good :thup:

Cahais not as good.

cant find gioda.

Gillis too slow.

Arzo good but too pricey for a back-up.

CMd:
Yussof: Quality but unavailable unfortunately.

Palombo: too pricey for his quality.

Kehl = quality, looking in to that.

Sivok + Cana not good enough.

Battaglia went to parma.

AMR:
Barnes, Tiffert, Ziani not good enough.

Govou: not good enough for price.

Lopez not like petrov, i.e. good dribbler etc.

Morais: not really what im after.

Enyeama not good enough, Ochoa not good enough yet :cool: I'm tracking him.

Baines at everton, chiellinin is ideal as i already said but pricey/interest.

Digard/reginiussen not good enough.

Bangura... CL? lol Martinez not great yet.

Gyan is fbbb st not amr. Millan is youth.
