ive just started a game with leeds with the intention of bringing european glory back to elland road within 5 seasons but obviously its not going to be too easy. the way i intend to go about it is by bringing in quite a few young players and giving them as much match experience as possible over the first 2-3 seasons and then hopefully by season 4/5 ill have the revenue to bring in those few quality players that can help me compete in europe along with the kids ive been building up.
so firstly...how would you rate my chances and secondly...what young players would you recommend i bring in. obviously a lot of players will have to be loaned in but im hoping with the match experience i give them and a few carefully timed comments that i can get on theyre favoured personnell and then be able to get them on permanent deals after a season or two.
...cue comments on how ill never win anything with kids and how this post is probably in the wrong forum..but hey, try this....instead of making some sarcastic comment telling me to post it somewhere else how bout posting something more constructive.
id write an essay on how ive done it with leeds and who ive signed etc, but it'll take ages. Take a read through the leeds thread, theres loads of player recommendations on there and how others have got on trying the same.
In five years you should be competeing in europe but its a good challenge
