I've always been of the opinion that the majority of LLaMas would be able to hold their own with the best of CM Players.
It's been a constant source of irritation to me that guys come in here and offer us advice on how to play better. They simply don't understand that LLaMas choose to play in the LLM/Crap way because they've done it the other ways and want to play it simple, or even started off playing in a rudimentary LLM way and let it evolve in here.
So I have a proposal, and you may disagree with it, that's why I'm posting it in a thread - to guage the opinion and response of the regular LLaMas.
We're all getting a bit bored with CM3. Most of us can do just about anything we want with a team because we've grown to know CM3 and can play against the game, rather than against other Teams. CM4's on the horizon, tantalisingly close now, and we can't wait for it.
So...I propose a TLM, a Top League Manager, challenge, a) To give us a sort of New Year's break from LLM, a bit of Fun, and b) To prove/disprove my theory that LLaMas are as good as, if not better, than the rest.
I'd propose that it was played over 5 seasons, with Roma, and with the game set with as many Leagues and as big a database as your machine will allow (this being to give an overview of guys playing with 1 League on minimum database to the guys who can play the lot on maximum). We'd see how much a LLaMa could win with arguably the best Club in CM, and we wouldn't give a tóss who won.
To stop a multitude of big team threads in LLM, I'd also propose that the update thread was confined to just the one thread - perhaps Sticky - and that any other would be deleted so guys don't get the wrong idea.
So what do you think? I'd like the Regulars to take part - you know who you are, not necessarily only the guys who have been here for years - let's have a bit of fun.

I'd feel too dirty I think [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif" alt="frown[/IMG] . Would be interesting as an exercise to see who the best LLM managers are by placing them on an equal (albeit extremely good footing to start with [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="big grin[/IMG] ).
