After the game with Boston Utd. crahsed I had enough with English league. Therefor I decided to take control of 2nd Div Swedish club Hjulsbro IK.
The real problem with Hjulsbro is that it has only 14 players at start + very poor coach, useless scout and OK physio. But we have good 23-year-old swedish attackers, and a good defence. Midfield is so-so, but with some new young players will become consistent. We played 3 friendlies. One with better team, one with the same range team and one with worse team than ours. In the opposite order ofcourse. We won all three and scored 9 goals while conceded only 3. Therefor it seems that 23-year old GK will do the job.
In pre-season we acquiered three coaches, ass. mngr. & 3 scouts. I managed to get a 19 yo Swedish SW/DC, which is learning to become a pure DC. He got 7 while playing in MC too, so I am quite confused what to do with him. Also I signed 19 yo Norwegian, who scored in our first league game. He is a potential to become a gem.
The Board has given us an assignement ot fight bravely against relegation, and I hope we will manage to comply with their request.
Something about Swedish 2nd Div league.
There are 12 teams in each of 6 groups. The last 2 are relegated, the 10th plays playoffs. Only first teams are qualified to what it seems to be an playoff for promotion, and only 3 clubs get it.

Anyway I started again with the same club. Same problems though. Although now I seem to have even more crappy scout, than before. Details coming later today.

As you can see, we have some troubles wining at home. We are always winning 1-0 until 65 - 70 mins. Then we concede a stupid goal (from penalty [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif" alt="mad[/IMG]!!). My attackers are not as good as I thought, but they do their job. Anyway. I found a potential gem in 20 year Swedish M/S C, which is learning to become AM C, since I need him in the midfield and not in attack. I bought him on free transfer and he is already worth more than 4 times of Senior Club average. Hoping for a good future with him in my squad.
My financial status is great (almost 100K) after selling a young GK for 30K to a Premier Division club and gaining a 22K reward for qualification to 2 Rnd of Swedish Cup.
In the future we will try to win some important home games and therefore awoid the relegation possibilities. We've managed to lure in some respected skillful players on Bosman ruling. So we must stay in 2 Div, so that I can keep my Job and enjoy playing with them [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="smile[/IMG]!

We only managed to get to playoffs, where we faught bravely against relegation [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="big grin[/IMG]. The first game was a shocking, nerve eating home 2-2 draw, with opposition leading 0-1 and 1-2 while we had only 10 players on the field even before the first conceded goal. The next game was an away 2-1 victory. We were again with only 10 players on the field. This happened to me in the last 4 league matches as well. Well we managed to keep up our head and won the game. Therefore we are waiting for another thrilled season.
The highest raniking player of the season (in our club) was 25 year old GK from Sweden, who had an avg. rating 7.40. We've managed to sign some players at the end of the season. Three are prospectable youngsters from Denmark, and one Swedish 29 years old GK, which is on the subs bench.
Major dissapointment were some youngsters including the most valuable one. They just run out of good form towrds the end of the season. We are hoping that they will catch the right form next season, of course.
In the cup, we managed to squeeze through 3 rounds, and we are expecting AIK in Linkoeping in march. We beat one 1 Div club on the way, and the Board even said that they are pleased with 1-0 victory. There is really no pleasing some people.
Anyway. The plan for the next season is obvious. After team strenghtening, we must focus on higher league position. Preferably 1 st, but lets be realistic. Whatever place outside the relegation probabilities would be terrific. In the cup, we will probably loose against AIK, so preferably 3 round is our plan.
This second season is, so far, much better than the first one. We are clear of relegation for half of year now. And not only that. We even led once. But in last 3 games we only managed to get 1 point and fall way back on 7th position. Probably the 1 month break in which we played 3 friendly matches, didn't do us any good. Anyway here is the table:
As you can see, we are still doing bad at home stadium. We only got 5 points at home. I don't know what is that all about. We managed to sell our young gem to Red Star for mere 100K, although he was worth only 22K. Anyhow, he is 500K worth in Red Star now. So we could squeeze some more cash into our treasury. We also sold another youngster to Sheblourne for 10K, although he was woth only 4K. He is not much more valuable there.
Players that were acquired by Bosman ruling are a bit of dissapointment though. They can not keep up a performance that I expected. We hope they will catch good form towards the end of the season.
I hope that the club will rise higher than this 7th position. not that I am unsatisfied, but, we are just plain better then this. Although if we keep losing points on "outsiders" like Adolfsberg and Hertzöga, then we can just hope not to get relegated.
We have been directly qualified to the third round of the cup. Got AIK again! This time we lost 3-0.
Maybe we will have better luck in cup next season, although I am more worried with league position.

End of season 2. And what a season this has been. We finished 7th in the end and show some good football late in the season. Unfortunately, we didn't show one before [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif" alt="frown[/IMG].
Anyway, here is the table at the end of the season:
Even though we have scored a gem twice. First one is a superb 17 years-old Danish stirker, who scored some important goals late in the season and had an everage in 16 games 7.00. The other one is 19 years-old Norwegian D/M RLC, who the scout recomemnded late in the season and had an average of 7.00 in 3 games he played form the bench.
Otherwise our 26 yo GK has prevented many balls to finish in the net. He is the star of our team (in my opinion). He conceded 20 goals in 19 games played and had an average 7.11.
The Bosman Rule GK did not prooved himself as an exellent signing, though, he had a high average of 7.25. He conceded 7 goals in 8 games.
Major dissapointment are some payers, that should be playing more consistent. Some of them will be transfer listed before new season starts. Hopefully someone will buy them.
I had to sell my Bosman Rule D/DM RC for 40K (he was worth 26 [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="smile[/IMG]). He just could not fit into the team. An average of his was below 6.0, so when the offer came, I sold him. It was what he wished.
Finances are in the red figures now. We spent 100K more on wages then last year, so we had it coming. At least board doesn't nag me about it, yet. They are currently delighted with my work at the club.
We are hoping for yet better season next year. I expect a high placment in the league, although four of our players will retire. Three are already signed as coaches or Ass. mngr. One will become a coach as soon as he retires.
