Is it good LLM ethics to resign from your club when you've gotten them to top of the country and put millions in the bank, when you can buy any player you want? Or is it perfectly fine for a Llama to lead their not so lower league club to Real Madridesque proportions?
One other question, would your reputation drop if you resigned from a top team that you led to the top and took over some crap squad in the conference?
Oh wait...... last one..... is it considered LLM if you took a club to the top, resigned, and took over a fallen giant languishing in D3?
Once you have earned your chance at the top clubs, take whatever job you like. Many people here go back to an LL club because they find it less interesting, but either choice you suggest is valid.
Yes your reputation drops, but you will still have a markedly better reputation than other conference managers.

"Is it good LLM ethics to.....?"
is a pain in the ass title because the ...? could be about anything. I prefer thread titles to have accurate descriptions so I know what I'm clicking through to. At least it wasn't an update thread
LLM isn't about staying in the dregs of management in your whole career whatever your reputation might be. Really it's just as unrealistic IMHO to continually take garbage jobs your whole career regardless of what your rep merits as it is to start at a club you'd never get into. If you're playing with all of Europe active (which gives about 6500 active managers), and you're top 100 in the world, you merit consideration for any 1st Division post in Europe and have earned the right to apply for them. Now if you WANT to go down to another cruddy team, that's your choice. But LLM ethics isn't pushing you one way or the other.
BTW, taking over fallen giants is a perfectly good career choice for an LLM manager. Look at my game. I started with a fallen giant, Toulouse, and then moved to a team that had dropped out of the 1st for my 2nd side in Auxerre. I'm considering a move in the future to Millwall, which is currently Div 3 in my game. Not a giant, but a club with good reputation that ought not be that low. In fact, because of game mechanics, picking up teams that are fallen below their legitimate place is often the best way to move into a new league.
I agree that taking a club to the top then resigning and joining Pis.s-stained Pensioners FC simply because they are ****e goes completely against any quest for realism
Like we always say... if you have to ask then you probably think its wrong to start with? Do what you think is realistic. You'll soon know from the howls if someone thinks you've done something unLLaMaish. (Is that a word? )
