No probs, LB. You generally only hear it in Burnley, amongst the flat-caps, pigeons and whippets

Well, you've tempted me to start a new career

Guess who I took over? Tokatspor, of course

Well I just learned what that line at the top of the classification groups is for.

You can apparently still be promoted even if you don't make the promotion group, The 5 classification group winners join together with the teams that finish 3rd-5th in the promotion group for a 1/4 final - semi final - final style competition to decide the last of the three promotion places. What a crazy league .

I also got some weird messages over the season

I was sitting 2nd in the promotion group after 10 games and had just enjoyed a 4 game winning streak when I got the message

"Local media sources are asking if Ankara's D.S. recent run of good form can continue and the club will avoid relegation this year".

I was 2nd in the promotion group, Relegation just wasn't a possibility .

Anyway I told them we would stay up ( I was 100% sure for once) This pleased my fans and the board with my optimism .

No wonder so many managers are sacked in Turkey, the chairman doesn't understand the table .

Anyway I think in reality SI's programming has some issues with the complexities of Division 2CB

If you're second in the promotion group, you are doing well. Make sure you stay above that line, or it will be another tiring end to the season.

hehe, quality entertainment in Turkey, Doc.

Hope you've got plenty of suntan lotion and a shotgun

Bolsheviks, eh, iaj? I maintain that Bolshevik means "minority" but everyone else says I'm talking Bolerics.

Yeah the meaning in Western languages is probably different then. The name used by Lenin's followers has come to be used as a sort of synonym for Communists.

and KUTGW Doc

I've already mentioned here that I took over Tokatspot recently... Well, what should I say... I have NEVER experienced such SHĪT yet.
Okay, the season started well - I've won 2 games and drawn 1 and was leading the table quite comfortably.
But then....... 15 games without a single win would you believe! And all games were very close - for the most part I got defeated by just 1 goal margin. So I finished the first stage with only 11 points, 7 of which were gained in the first 3 games! No need to explain it was the last place.
Now I'm going to start the second stage... Chances to survive are not good at all, but no harm in trying anyway.

Phew, a win at last! 4-1 at home over leaders Karabükspor! Still 10 points behind the career-saving 6th spot though. 17 games without winning - that must be my all-time record.
