Normally a youth scout covers just your region e.g. UK and Ireland, Central Europe, South America etc...

So either you've accidently sent a scout to Brazil or something weird is happening.

Happens all the time. Scots Clubs are full of Brazilians, it's all got to do with the Historic links between Scotland and Brazil, we colonized them a few hundred years ago, they speak Scottish as their first language and wear colourful clothes and play an extremely skillful game of Shinty.

I've never had my youth players come from just one region. If you scout a region, and then, as soon as scout finishes the regular tour, you send him after youth, he'll more than likely stay in the same region as his main tour. [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif" alt="wink[/IMG] Really, I do this all the time, and it works 3/4s of the time. Usually when it doesn't its because I had to wait too long to reassign the scout due to updating.

Whenever I send my scouts on "youth search" its only the uk region.Why is it possible for scouts to go on youth searchs all over the world?

Send scout to the region on a regular tour. (Of course, this IS a region you can legitimately scout.) Immediately when the scout finishes the normal tour and you receive notification, click on his search in news item. Then after reviewing his scouting mission, select a youth player search. Assuming that the game didn't take you too far into the future from the time you received the message, you'll have a youth search of the area that your scout just was in.

IE: Scout Eastern Europe as normal, your youth search, if you did as above, AND the game is on the same day as the completed message was SENT, your scout will tour Eastern Europe for youth. If the game carried into the next day, it's 50/50 whether this will work. I'm guessing this simulates travel time back to your home club.
