Halfway through the season i see myself resting at the number one spot, but the club's efforts lately have hardly been convincing. Losing som home matches by the odd goal just doesn't cut it. Also, as you can see, i've played more games than the other teams in the top, and it wouldn't surprise me if one of them should pass me soon. But I have high hopes for the rest of the season. High points this far is an unbeaten run of 13 games and som youth players sending the elders to the reserves.

Don't you just love the unpredictability of computers. The hd where I keep my cm stuff just crashed on me. So it looks like i'm gonna seek my fortunes elsewhere in the next game i start, have been thinking about esatern europe quite a lot, perhaps Turkey or Russia.

Arrrrgh hard luck stezstyx, I know the feeling, I had a 9 and a half days of real life save game for Nuneaton Borough that wont work within the latest patch, and I think after a recent defrag the save gae wont load under a reinstalled .67 version :-( Hereford was always a LL team I considered managing, for no reason other than that my parents are Hereford Cattle Breeders! :p But I alwyas seem to pick NB for the LL challange.

On the subject of signing unknown players being 'unrealistic', I'll share a little tale from real life, which happened with the Auckland Kingz (who play in the Aussie NSL - they have a special dispensation from FIFA to do so) They signed a young Argentinian keeper, who the story goes had never ever been SEEN by any coach or member of the Kingz staff. He was about 5 foot nothing, and, well, basically hopeless. His goal kicks couldn't even make half way! So I think it is fair to say that tho rare, signing 'unseen' players DOES happen!
