I agree Robbo, and I know exactly which player Stezstyx is talking about and he turns up all the time but it's not realistic to sign a player like that as it's unrealistic that you, as a conference manager would know about him especially since he's never even played in England. Ah it's all gay anyway.

Good for you stezstyx - keep us updated with Hereford and let us know how you get on

Ah good old Hereford. I had 6 good years managing them. Never managed promotion so I left for (at the time) Division 3 strugglers Dover. Them were the days.

I've been going on kind of a signing spree since my scouts started recommending players, with 20 new players joining Hereford. Tops among these should me my planned premium goal scorer/target player, a 27 year old englishman with 16 for finishing and heading (14 for jumping) and a 24 year old english offensive midfielder with 18 for dribbling, 15 for finesse and 14 for technique. These signings bring my squad up to a total of 38 players, but I'm planning on getting rid of some crap, like my loaned in striker from Bournemouth (utter SHlT) to improve the clubs economical situation.

The first, and only, friendly of the pre-season ended 3-0 at home against non-leaguers Vauxhall motors with my projected top scorer banging in 2 and his attacking partner getting 1.

The start of the season draws near, stay tuned for more updates.

5 games in on the season things have started way above expectation, losing only the first game away to Barnet, then winning the next four with the 5-1 home trashing of Leigh RMI the most memorable. Also, both player awards for august went to Hereford players.

As you can see, 3 of the 5 games were at home, hope I'll be able to keep the consistency even in the away games.

Holy crap, this table doesn't look good, any tips on how to post tables in a good way.

Fixed

If he's on the Player Search/interested screen and you scout him before buying, he's fair game IMHO.

It clearly states on the screen that he's in your area. Probably over here looking for a club or something.

But, hey, do what you think is right

Exactly, most players, as I understand it, say that an initial "Players Interested/Contracts Expired" search is OK and not governed by SWYCT, as that screen will not turn up anyone who isn't of sufficient reputation to be known by you. Now how many of those players would legitimately join an LLM club when they have 10 others to choose from is another question.

Havn't seen this for a while, welcome back old pal!

How to create a table!

To create a table and for it to be correct on the SI boards this is what you have to do.

First of all on CM go onto game settings, make sure that the print to option is either on File or File and printer. Next, go onto the table you want to show on the message boards and in the top right hand corner of this there is a print button, click on that and go down to Table. Now, go into The Directory you saved the file in (Default is usually: CProgram Files\Championship Manager 01-02\print) and open the Notepad file, highlight all that is selected in the file and then Press CTRL + C or right click and copy on your mouse. On the SI games message board click post reply, or post new thread and then type whatever message you want to accompany your table with. Next, click on the code button just below the text area. When you have pressed this a Tag will appear like this [.CODE] [./CODE] (without the full stops) Paste the table in between the Tags, you an do this by either, CTRL + V or right mouse clicking and then selecting Paste. Press the post button and all should be correct.
