Back on track again after the hardware problems I've taken control of the Croatian div 2 side Ivancica. I think this will pose a very exciting challenge. The club is about 135,000 in debt, has 15 players in it's squad, good trainig facilities, 1 coach, 1 scout and 1 physio. The board expects me to stay clear of relegation, and I can't say that my expectations are any higher than that.

The first thing to do of course is to send the, so far, only scout out to look for players in croatia and later eastern europe. A couple of offers for primarily croatian players in the player search has also been made, although I'm not positive regarding my chances of getting any of them. With the first game of the season only 13 days away things will have to go pretty quickly from now on. I'm also trying to get some more staff to join me, but the interested ones are of limited quality.

I can't wait to see what will become of this team.

Welcome to Croatia! The Croatian Div2 is great fun, I think it's the best experience of LLM I ever had, except maybe my success in the Leigh RMI challenge. 15 players and good training facilities sound great, btw. I took Imotska Krajina and got only one single player in the beginning.

The season is under way, and I've signed 17 players on free transfers. Can't say that anyone of them stands out this far though. My lonesome scout started sending reports after a while, but since he's crap most of the players I've gotten aren't much to brag about. Have however managed to reel in a 35 year old bielorussian midfielder who scored 3 goals in his debut, promising indeed. Have been able to find a reasonably good am and some decent coaches as well.

5 games in I see myself in 6th spot, a better start than i had hoped. As you can see I'm scoring quite a lot of goals, but the defence is quite leaky at times. At present the average attendance is 2696 in my no-seater 3000 capacity 'stadium'.

I hope this points in the general direction of what the season will be like for me, can probably forget about promotion, too crappy a defence.

I've got a question regarding the club names in Croatia. A lot of them have 'NK' in them, what do these letters stand for, is it like the british FC or...? Is there someone out there who can enlighen me?
