Being without money means that my scouts find quite a few players that I feel would make a significant earthshaking impact on my team, if only they'd be available for free.
Once upon a time I just looked at their contract (about to expire in 4 years), shrugged my shoulders and went on to the next find.
Then I moved on to the greedy way: I slapped every good player on my shortlist and waited, no matter how long, until their contract ran out to try and sign them. One major major drawback: after a few years, all their stats have been forgotten, so how can I be sure they are still good for our team?
So I added a feature: at the moment of discovery, I rate them out of 10 and enter that rate in the player note.
10 = must have
9 = almost must have
8 = not bad at all
7 = if there are no other options, he'll do
(somehow 6 to 1 never make it to the list, so I should rate them out of 4, I suppose, but a 4 doesn't have the same ring as a 10

)
But the problem now is, that even if a guy has a 10, I
still can't be sure, because in the meanwhile we have been promoted and how would that guy do on our current dizzy high level?
It's hard being a manager
(Now lookee here. I'm not asking for tips or anything, just chatting about a game feature that interests me, OK?)
