I agree with Oliver... I like a real M C who can do it all. Create, tackle, and basically runs the team like a general. They seem to be in scarce supply these days.

i love watching a pacey winger turning the opposing fullback inside-out and pinging in the crosses, cos i play AMR myself.

but most of all i love watching a good defensive midfielder like a certain leeds favourite and winner of two (nearly three!) championship medals. most of my favourite football memories from my childhood involve watching this player slide through an opponent, collect the ball and calmly pass it upfield while sticking his elbow into another player or two. it's nice to see footie played with a bit of passion. ah, memories!

in CM i always end up with a DMC with high aggression, strength, tackling and preferably a poor disciplinary record too.

Gotta say I like a winger, one who takes on defenders and get's that ball in for a big hefty forward to header it home.

i like a nice creative player myself, a certain mercurial left footed Romanian is possibly my favourite player of all time along with a hot headed Bulgarian of the same era.
so in CM I love a creative AMC, it quite often he who obtains the highest rating and is top scorer. at the other end of the pitch a quality DMC is one of the most important players on the pitch in my formation...

Two good players, Glass-fella. Hristo was about to sign for the now-defunct Airdrie when Steve Archibald was there. They'd played together at Barca and wanted to renew their acquaintance on a professional level. Never did, though.

I played six whole games for an under 11s team once. Played EVERYWHERE, foward, midfield and defence, apart from goalkeeper (and I once was going to play goalkeeper if we made it to the final of a friendly cup). I played my best fooptball at DR, however, and have taken a liking to D/DM RL ever since.

I don't mind goalkeeper either, where I've played in that position a couple of times for inter-school football.

To top off my post, I am naturally fond of players in those positions. Attacking wing-backs are my favourites.
