Default Asia? South Korea? Then Australia?

Ok, I'm haveing a go at the South Korean K-league, playing with Taejon Citizen.

This is supposed to be a career game, where I'm starting in South Korea, try a move to Australia a bit later and then, finally, ending up in the cold north - England.

Taejon is a OK team, some good players specially my S C (a little South Korean gem) and my Senegalese SW/D C.

They got a stadium with a capacity with for about 30.000 people, 20614 seats. The training ground need some investment and I'm already in the red with the cash.

Been playing half a year for now, not startet with the K-league yet, but finished the League cup and the South Korean Super Cup final. I won the final 2-1 against Songnam. The League cup however was a strange thing indeed. First a group stage, in that stage you either won or lost. Never played a draw. If the score was draw after full time, the match went into extra-time (golden goal), if it was still a draw the match would be ended by penalties. Now here comes a little thingy... If you won by penalties, you only got 1 point, instead of 3 points. Amazing.

Here's the table from my group:
<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre"> ************************************************** ********************************************** Korean League Cup - Wednesday 10th July 2002********************************************** ************************************************** ================================================== ============================================== 2002 Tables============================================ ================================================== ==Group APos Team Pld Won Pen Lst For Ag Won Pen Lst For Ag Pts--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1st Q Ulsan 8 3 0 1 8 4 3 0 1 8 3 17 2nd Q Chunnam 8 4 0 0 11 1 0 0 4 2 8 12 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------3rd Anyang 8 3 0 1 8 5 0 1 3 2 8 10 * 4th Taejon 8 3 0 1 10 6 0 0 4 5 9 9 5th Pusan 8 3 0 1 6 6 0 0 4 5 15 9 </pre>

As you see, I didn't qualify for the next round. Now, I'm waiting for the league to start.

The WC2002 was just finished, with Portugal ending 4th, England ending 3rd, Germany ending 2nd and DENMARK (!!!) won the cup.

The final standings from Europe is:
England:
PL winner: Man Utd
PL runner up: Charlton

CL:
Winner: Liverpool
Runner up: Dortmund

UEFA Cup:
Winner: Blackburn
Runner up: Lille

Asian Club Championship:
Winner: Jubilo Iwata (JAP)
Runners-up: Al Ain (UAE)

Asian Cup Winners' Cup:
Winners: Al Ahli (KSA)
Runners-up: Singapore Armed Forces FC

Oceania Champions Cup:
Winners: Arorangi (COK)
Runners-up: Olympic Sharks (AUS)

Now... I guess that was all for now. Will do another update when I've completed the season.

Taejon are a really bad team IRL - so let's see whether you can bring them to the top. KUTGW!

Incidentally, if "grübenschitzel" is a word it's purely accidental

Okay, let me summarize:

<UL TYPE=SQUARE>
<LI>born in Poland
<LI>grew up in Austria
<LI>now living in Germany
<LI>managing in Croatia
<LI>knowing about South-Korean Football
<LI>and not knowing what a grübenschitzel would be
</UL>

Btw, "Grübenschitzels" are small scottish zealots with bald heads who have a similarity to certain fat goalies. Of course, I won't mention names

The Korean league is a pretty interesting league. I love the season format.

Let's hope you can beat the Japanese teams in the Asian Cups later on.

First off; sorry Oliver, just a quick peek at your "From".
