Arrghhh!

OK, I need the advice of the LLaMa community. I have a problem with the saved game. It is "mildly" corrupted. Meaning, I "can" still play it, but it's just not going to be the same.

Last season once I arrived in England I noticed that the FA Cup matches weren't being played. After the season I found out the reason, somehow the draw got messed up. It had 8 different teams listed as "or" in the Finals to play Arsenal. I guess they were going to go gladiator style and knock each other off until only one remained to play the Champion.

So, anyway I thought that maybe this was some glitch caused by me not being in that league, and it would be cleared up this season now that I'm playing there. Nope. I'm at the time of the year when FA Cup draws 'ought' to be starting, and no draws.

So the League is still playable, but with no FA Cup, it's kind of a downer. Can someone give me a good reason to keep going, or should this go to the land of deleted files, as I'm more than a little inclined to do.

Currently Reading is in 5th, and I qualified France for the World Cup without a defeat, btw.

I'm afraid I'm the kind of guy who'd drown a crippled dog, so it'd be the file marked "D" for "Deleted" for me

You're sure...of course you are, you said it should be draw time.

Your choice, obviously, but I couldn't play with "damaged goods"

iajafer,

Quite sure. What got me worried is last season I didn't see any FA Cup matches for reading. I thought "well, maybe we didn't get entered." Then I looked and saw that the Finals was what I mentioned before, and I have no idea how long it was like that. The Cup had worked earlier in the game, as I'd watched it before. But it seems that it botched at least in 07/08, and I just didn't know about it.

I'm bummed, this has been the most fun I've had with a game. Oh well, looks like it's off to Germany, though I'm not going to repeat the problems I had with nationality. I'll be an English manager in the Regional. LOL.

Thank you all kindly. I wish I could've kept it going. But this will give me time to get one last(?) campaign in.

See you in Germany!
