When I leave a club I like to leave them with some sort of lasting improvement, so I would stay until the ground gets expanded.

That'll probably mean getting into the CL and making silly amounts of money, but there's nothing like playing against the giants of Europe in front of a couple of old blokes and their dogs.

I always stay until I'm sacked
I'd hate to leave all of my favourite players behind to get squashed by Juventus in Serie A

Okay, a quick non-LLM update.
06.03.06 Hired as Fiorentina Manager (11th Seria A)
15.05.06 Finished 9th - Seria A
14.05.07 Finished 7th - Seria A (UEFA Qualification)
06.12.07 Knocked out of UEFA cup QF
29.03.08 Resigned as Fiorentina Manager
19.04.08 Hired as Sampdoria Manager
26.04.08 Seria B Champions

That's right i won the league in 7 days!

What happened is that i got bored of Fiorentia during the last season there and i applied for all sorts of LLM jobs inbetween (Kettering, Barnet and many German regionals) I also applied for the Belgian National job when it became avaliable, but DIDN'T get it .

None of these clubs seemed to want me (why is it that LLM clubs wouldn't take a manager ranked 12th in Italy, is it because they think i'm taking the p1ss?). I guess you have to resign first.

So after i slumped to 13th in Seria A with Fiorentina and the supporters started calling for my head, the players had lost confidence in my ability (they seemed to do that alot whilst i was at Fiorentina, but then i'd have a good run and they'd think i was great) and i got the dreaded vote of confidence from the chairman, i decided to jump before i was pushed.

The current Chelsea manager was manager at Sampdoria (who were already promoted) and decided that he would rather manage my old club. So i applied for his post and what do you know, it's Job Swaps Inc.

A week later i win the league by winning my first game and i feel kinda guilty for getting the glory for his hard work, but then the way i see it he left them to bugger off to what seemed like greener pastures (he obviously hasn't met the players yet!) so that's his problem.

Before i get jumped on for this no longer being an LLM thread, i'm only planning on staying at Sampdoria for one season in Seria A then it's off to Germany or Holland LLM. I promise.

On a related note, Torslanda only just missed relegation last year, but are riding high so far this season . Top of the league after 6 games and they have a certain Swedish Celtic striker who used to have dodgy hair playing for them . Must be using the money that they got from Fiorentina after i stole their best striker to pay him.

I'll update this next when i get to The Netherlands or Germany.

And i want that Belgium job!

Just because you have moved clubs doesn't mean it's no longer LLM.

Yeah - i know, but they're BIG clubs and by big i mean HUGE.

I mean for example at Fiorentia i spent 10M on one player and my average gate was over 40k, where as the most i ever spent at Torslanda was 90k on one player and the stadia was (and still is) only 2000.

Also, these clubs arn't "fallen giants" or anything. Fiorentina were in Seria A when i went there and Sampdoria are going to be there next season. Obviously, there are still challenges here but not LLM ones. I'm just being funny i guess.

Like they said, you earned the right to move clubs. I don't see this as an issue. Now if you get thinking about moving to the Geordies, then we might have an issue (right oh modish one). LOL
