Lost my best player for a measly 275k min. release whilst i was trying to offer him a new contract. Looks like i'm actually going to get another scout (a crap one, but hey it's an improvement).

No-one told me the close season was this long!!! Also, some of the teams in the first division look bloody good!!! I'm wetting my pants already!

Look out ladies. [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif" alt="razz[/IMG] I can't believe how lucky i've been this season, the amount of times that i came back from a 2 goal deficit was unbelievable! Still, as with all things in life i also feel a bit cheated.

I beat Malmo in the next-to-last game of the season to take me top by two points, then i went and drew at lowish Gelfe. The last time i got consecutive promotions with an LLM team (Woking), i was sacked the next season due to poor all-round management and as i'm not one for learning from my mistakes i'll be semi-expecting a repeat performance although...

I have already decided that unless i get relegated next season and manage to keep this job, then i'll be moving on to (hopefully) another country [IMG]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif" alt="frown[/IMG]. I've enjoyed my first outing in Sweden, but as was earlier pointed out - there's just not enough fit ladies in Torslanda and i'm just far too shallow to not let that be a deciding factor. I'm from Torslanda originally (well, Lilleby really)
I can assure you we had some fine girls when I lived there! There are a few places in Gothenburg where the rich people live, and I've never seen Torslanda as one of them. Upper middle class more like.
I just had to make my comeback to LLM to defend my home

I never played for Torslanda IK though, but I've obviously been to their "stadium" quite a few times...

Oi, oi, oi! Less of those penis-related double entendres in my thread thank you very much. Now you two go and relieve yourself by going and watching a few "Carry On" films.

Anyway back to my Torslanda career, I had a tough season as expected with some ridiculous results including a 5-0 win over Goteborg one week and then handing the quite frankly awful Landskrona their first win 1-2 the next.

I was disapointed not to get any awards for my attendances, as it appears that Landskronas' ground/support is even more pathetic than my own meagre 2000. I am happy with the final results however as by looking at the records, only ourselves and Umea have managed to stay up after getting promoted since the games' start.

I've also had a bit of a change of heart about my future with the club, i stated in my last report that i would be leaving after this season, but i've decided to "do a Ferguson" and decide to stay on. This is providing of course that i get the players that i'm currently chasing (and that Staines don't get promoted to the Conference. I still live in pathetic hope of a bug in the game making it possible. ). I just think that there is more i can do with this club despite the board turning down my request for a much needed stadium expansion. Anyway, the final table is below.

Oh and for those of you who are even vaguely interested in these sort of things, look at Torslanda's rather professional-looking website. It's better than Staines' or Brentford's for that matter! Perhaps one of the players is a tecchie.

And how many sponsors do they want? How come i don't seem to get that sort corporate backing in my game eh?

I could do with a bit of guidance LLaMas, I've been offered the job at Seria A misfits Fiorentina. They're sitting 11th in the table with not a lot of money and their expectations are understandably to avoid relegation.

I'm tempted to go as I had said I was going to leave anyway and only changed my mind after I had signed a few quality players for Torslanda. However, the season in Sweden hasn't even started yet and whereas I'm not particularly confident of a successful season with Torslanda and I am upset with the board refusing to increase the stadium, I do feel that I have built a better squad and that there is the possibility of improvement on last season's reasonable outing.

The other thing of course is that I can hardly update this story anymore due to Fiorentina's size and their current standing, it's just not LLM (River Plate anyone?). I'm certainly not an indecisive man and I think I know which way I'm going to go but I was wondering what your opinions are on this old and common dilemma?

1. I stay at Torslanda, who despite the board crippling them financially, have potential and continue to implement my ten year plan on taking them towards the top of Sweden.

2. Or am I cowardly and go to Fiorentina and implement a five year plan to get them back to the top of Italy.

After either I go back to LLM at another club and start with a whole new plan. Damn that crazy Hannibal and his plans!!!!
