Long time reader first time poster, well actually not the first post, just such a nice classic phrase.
I am currently in one of my first LLM games, and have got to think about something.
How is it looked upon if you switch club and buy some players from your former club, without scouting them with your new club?
I know your scouts has to find the players your buy, but if its a player you know that has done well for you, in the same save game ofc, is it okay to bring him with you to the new club?

Not necessarily - they still need to be scouted, but don't always have to be found by the scouts. It just has to be realistic. For example, I have just sent my scout to watch a player who scored three times in two matches against me and tops the BSS scoring charts, hence it's realistic that I've come across him myself.

As these lists exist in real life and are readily avaliable on the internet does that not pose the question that it would be realistic to scout anyone from any league (where you can scout of course) who appears high on these lists? On the basis that anyone who scores goals in a similar, slightly worse or superior league would be wroth scouting/signing.
I guess the Brazilian recently signed by Middlesbrough is an example of this.
