Actually SM is not at all bad. Most people that dismiss it haven't played the latest version. It needs polishing but it's not that far away from FM, especially if FM stagnates as much as it has over the past few years.
I prefer FM (although not right this second) but CM is a nice little game.
It kinda brings back the fun factor too. It's using the old style graphics that we got so used to and it is a lot of fun. I hope it keeps improving as we need more competition in this market. Even SI would want CM to get better, it's good for the industry.
I also really like some of the features they have, ProZone is a good example.
Criticizing it for being able tio choose a national team from the start... well you can do the same in FM. LOL

CM is bunk end of story. FM is the ONLY option.
Unfortunately you're correct. The best thing that could happen would be if FM/SI had some serious competition from else where.
Maybe then we'd have more than 5 shallow features to look forward to per release. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Name 5 things that changed in real life football in the last year. </BLOCKQUOTE>
That's not my point. The point is they're adding more pish to the game and not really improving upon what features are already in the game.
For example, why add the likes of team meetings when team talks are next to useless? And if you want to talk about real life football, then there's the financial module, it's still poorly implemented i.e. poor transfer valuations and far too much cash floating around, a problem that's been around for years.
Those are 2 example and as most of us know, there's a hell of a lot more lacking within the game.

Finances are the problem of the board, not the managers concern.

They are a managers concern in FM, because if you bugger up the finances you get sacked, so they are important, end of story.

Sweet Jesus.
Like someone else has mentioned they are our concern in FM. Nothing like ignoring the obvious, eh?
