Is there anyway I can 'reset' my FM to before the beta patch came out?????????? Please, without reinstalling cos I dont wanna ruin my current game and editing to the databse i made.

Think about it. When you upload a patch it is inserting and overwriting files into your FM folder - how can you delete a file that has overwritten another without affecting the game. So the obvious answer, I would imagine is NO.

would uninstalling the game and reinstalling do the trick then? and also would this affect my saved game and would it mean i lose my edited databse?

You wouldn't lose your saved game, as it is stored in 'My Documents'. As for the database, it is best to back it up "just in case".
