i prefer fun it is way to hard with smaller clubs and to easy with the big clubs fair enough there are people out there who play every waking moment so can spend 15 hours a day pouring through the good tactics guide but i get about 15/16 hours a week play so i dont have time to do this (they should have a diffaculty level in it) but will never happen

all i want to do is take my beloved middlesbrough to champ league victory not always worry about being relagated

Realism. The harder the challenge the more enjoyment I get from winning.

For me, the 'fun' is all about becoming immersed in what feels like a genuine footballing world.

If the realism is lacking, it's more difficult to maintain the suspension of disbelief, which for me spoils the fun.

So i believe that realism is critical to the 'fun'.

If I wanted realism I would turn on the TV watch a real game.

For me it is the fun factor, and the challenge the game presents.

I want a realistic game thats enjoyable and challenging.

I dont use tactics forums or anything and just play the way I think I should, inFM07 I got Southend United to the Premiership but didnt dominate the league like I used to be able to in older versions.

For me thats bending realism enough...

I agree its the challenge. Some people are selecting the big/top sides then complaining they are not getting the success they feel that they should. This is where this game differs from many others, it is a management simulation

I guess most of us start with clubs we support but the challenge can be varied by the club we select to start with

Realism.

The game already has what you are alluding to. Just be Arsenal - they are the team that SI have added to be the Easy level. It will let you stroke your ego and think that you are a tactical god
