I'm with Chelski in the year 2040, and had the misfortune some years ago of surpassing the 2billion pound in the bank mark, resulting in it showing a negative balance instead of a positive balance.

I lost a year of play, but luckily my backup game came to the party, so i had to spend like a freak, offering ridiculous signing on fees ; huge wages etc etc...to get the balance hovering around 1.9bil or so...

Im in May 2040 now, the balance is around +2.05bil, im assuming any day now it'll fall into the negative territory, and badly need it to be 1 July ASAP so new signings can join...

I've offered my current staff and players huge signing fees on new contracts, tried to expand my stadium ("will take 2 months to complete"), are there any other ways to drop my balance, or to avoid this 2billion pound bug dilemma all the time.. ???

just download FMM for FM2007 and use that to edit the bank balance to whatever, 1.5 billion.

No it won't. Thats also a very good idea.
