Default 8.0.1 patch vs 8.0.2 patch

What will the 8.0.2 patch have that the 8.0.1 patch doesn't?

In other words, what bugs are still present in 8.0.1 patch?

Nobody knows, and nobody will know until the patch is out.

Only SI know. Besides, I can't see how knowing this information right now will affect your life. Even when the patch does come along, you'll just double-click it and get on with the game.

Yeah, the same thing has been said for 8.0.1, but I'm still reading that the patch did solve alot of problems but created new ones, whereas patches should just built on the good things already present, and therefore should just solve problems without creating new ones.

We'll see then...hoping the new patch will not affect our life either!!!

its all down to testing

If patch 8.01 had been tested properley then the bugs will have been picked up and sorted before release, meaning no need for patch 8.02

Hopefully they have learned from this and there will not be a need for patch 8.03

Also, If they had tested it properley they could be now concentrating on FM09 rather than spending time fixing FM08!

I don't think there's going to be an 8.0.3 no matter how sketchy 8.0.2 is. By the time they'd have got 8.0.3 sorted, FM09 would be due out.

If only it was that easy. Any bit of code you change to fix one thing will have an effect on something else, expected or not.

I dont see why SI has a problem with releasing loads of little patch's instead of restricting it to 2 large ones a year.

i suppose each patch would create as many problems, so it's easier for them to just iron out as many as possible before releasing a patch.

As each patch needs to be tested, releasing 10 patches would require 10x the amount of testing.
