Why is it that every player I bring to Holland (PSV) they all want away as soon as a team declares interest? I understand their reputation isn't as high as that of Europe's elite but sureley a PSV player can't be excited by the likes of west ham??

Also, because of this i have several players unhappy in the team and to be fair my 4th season is terrible, so another question is does a lot of unhappy players greatly affect team performance on the game?

PSV - Charlton.

It's not really the club in question that brings them to the Prem/Serie A/La Liga, it's the glamour of playing in the top leagues, and using clubs like West Ham as stepping stones to Arsenal / AC Milan / Barcelona / Inter / Man Utd etc..

lol aye well thats one player. Ive got a squad full of players ready to swap league winning, champions league football for midtable premiership football. But i can see your point about the stepping stones, I was just wondering if the game took that into account

Dennis Rommedahl was not a regular first team player at PSV. But what NepentheZ says happens sometimes, like Ooijer going to the Blackburn Rovers. I do agree that it happens to often, a lot of the top dutch league players leaving to a medicore side abroad.

In general I think the game is about right in this respect, it seems a fair reflection on the reputation of Dutch club football.
On the plus side: you can players from good Germany sides to come to PSV and even rotation players from Italy, England and Spain. So there is quite a bit of attraction there. Plus the Dutch sides are great for getting promising non-EU players as there is no restriction!


In my experience it does a lot yes. Again, this seems realistic. Man management is a big deal in football.
