Not sure if this should perhaps go in the problems thread..

I've been doing fairly well in my current game but cannot seem to retain/replace my assistant manager with any world class candidates.

I am managing Arsenal and even when i've won a lot of silverware, the board are pleased with my performance, am way under wage budget and have loads of money, staff wage capping is still a huge problem.

I lost Pat Rice because the board cap his wage at 16.5k and he wouldn't extend his contract after a few seasons in. Every other world class asst manager/coach i try to sign wants more than i am able to pay.

It's rediculous, i'm on about 56k p/w my players are earning over 100k p/w but my asst manager's wage has been capped which limits who i can get and prevents me from keeping my current one for very long.

This means that i've had to settle for a slightly less experienced asst manager and my squad suffers because of it.

Anyone else had this problem? I sincerely hope the patch or next version addresses this issue.

Perhaps this should be posted in the Bugs forum to see if the testers are aware of it.

i have this problem as well, but i tend to just bring up a coach from my team to be my new assman.

other world class assmans (is it assmen??) dont really want to join me, but it doesnt seem to be that much of a problem
