I know this has been said lots of times but .... how on earth did board/fan feedback ever get through playtesting? Was it remotely tested?
Ok i'm in a 'test' season playing about with team talks and stuff, but just lost 2-0 at Man Utd first season as Portsmouth and the feedback I get is 'unhappy at the failure to convert chances' - I had 4 (1 on target) while they had 14 (5 on target).
The feature isn't just poor it is utterly pointless and if it does impact on morale or whatever is a travesty. Can only pray it gets fixed.
Agreed, it needs work, but once it's working it could be an invaluable source of feedback. You're right though, it's frustrating. My personal gripe is when you've won three on the trot, beating Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea, but the fans are still moaning about the fact that you drew away 3 months ago.
i like the idea of fan feedback but yeah sometimes the feedback is a load of turkish delight.
for example i was swansea and we got beat in the fa cup first round off of newcastle whos best player costs more than my club. anyway we got beat 3-1. and the fans were upset. i was happy we managed to score.
You know I wouldn't mind if it was poor or occasionally frustrating (fans are a pain after all ) , but it is garbage. I just hate to think that it may in some way undermine the team/club morale in some way.
Hey! We're football fans! I can't help thinking that by portraying football fans as ignorant, slack-jawed idiots with the memory of an amoeba, SI have taken a very sly, but deliberate and spiteful swipe at us!!!!!
Some Football fans are impatient irrational morons though - I find it realistic - it's the board ones that annoy me, couldn't they leave the Cup expectation until they know who I'm playing.
