av just bought a 16m striker called vukovic and av had to send him to some unknown begium feeder club to get a wrk permit, question is how long do i have to send him there before i can play him for my club, hes 22

it takes 3 years for a player to gain a Belgium passport, but sometimes they don't get the passport even though they lived there for 3 years. So it would be better to send him some place that he can get regular football and have a chance to call up to the national team. Then when he played enough matches for the national team. he will be granted a working permit.

It will say in the info about the club in the affiliates section. IIRC it is 3 years.

That's a lot of money for someone who was refused a permit. As mentioned above if you want him to be playing within 3 years you will need him to be playing regular International football.

If he is Brazillian or Argentinian its likely he wont get the call so you may have no other option.

Also if he is not on a 3 year contract at least then you will end up losing him since you can't renew a contract before they get a WP.
