To those that are managing both a National team and club, have you ever left players that come from your club rivals on for far too long?

I'm Man Utd and Argentina, and Liverpool have 3 Argentinians. Mascherano, Insua and Aguero. I had Liverpool coming up on the weekend as well so decided to basically do the dodgy thing and left all 3 guys on for the whole 90mins. Only Aguero was ruled out for the weekend club game though.

What would everyone else do in that situation? Even if you weren't playing them that weekend, but to basically, for the short term, ruin that teams chance at challenging for the title.

Have to admit I've done the same thing to Liverpool as England's manager. I also make a point of telling all their players how bad they are performing to damage moral as well.

End result was 4-1 win at AnFAILED, with Gerrard getting sent off.

Under an old version, I sold a rubbish player to a club for £0 plus £2m if he played for England.

The salient point of this deal was that I was the England manager, so needless to say he got called straight up!

He played for about 1 minute, I pocketed lots of money and the other club went bust. Result!

What's worse, is I had Aguero receive a little knock in the game last night, but let him run out the 90mins. :p
