It's now possible in version 6.0.1 to assign kits to these teams.

All you need to do is add the year to the end of the relevant lines in the config file, for example.

<record from="k-league/daejeon_home" to="graphics/pictures/team/130774/kits/home/2005"/>

<record from="k-league/daejeon_away" to="graphics/pictures/team/130774/kits/away/2005"/>

Should be easy enough to understand I think

That does NOT work. When adding "2005" you can see the edited kit in the info screen alright, but you still end up with a generic crap kit for the matchday screen...

Please help us out here.

Well maybe the kit doesn't show properly there, I'll test it out tomorrow if I get a chance

Little question: I presume that if you add 2005 the kit will be used for the 2005-06 season and when you add 2006 it will be for 06-07.

Just out if interest Ter, if its possible to change the colour of kits on a specific year, would it be possible to get kits to change as though a new kit had been released?

For example:

"<record from="filename1" to="graphics/pictures/team/UNIQUEID/kits/away/2005"/>"

"<record from="filename1" to="graphics/pictures/team/UNIQUEID/kits/away/2006"/>"

"<record from="filename2" to="graphics/pictures/team/UNIQUEID/kits/away/2007"/>"

"<record from="filename2" to="graphics/pictures/team/UNIQUEID/kits/away/2008"/>"

So by having "filename1" and "filename2" and setting them for 2 years each, would that then allow me to have new away kits every 2 years?

Also, if that does work about assigning kits, is it possible to set it so that the teams away colours changes on certain dates as well?

You should be able to do it with the kit graphics but you can't do it with the titlebar colours.

This functionality was in the game though but it was removed when the kit change configs were moved to the database. It's something I want back in so that people will be able to do exactly what you have said.

- What file/folder do we need to add the extra lines?

- Do we need to assign a kit for each season, or will the game continue to use the last assigned kit?

You would need to add it to a config file the same way you do with the normal kits

The game will use the default assigned kit unless there is a year number added to the end, so to set the default, you leave off the /2005 at the end as normal.
