go into the editor competions scotish premier or whatever div u want then click on the team press swap them with whatever english side u want

I'm trying to use the text file with the .edt extention but i can't get it to work. can i use word to ceate the .edt file?

go to any english team in any leagy and use the swap option. i would swap them with a lower leauge team then swap them up from 4th to prem leauge.

then dont forget the scotish team MUST be changed english or the game wil crash

THE SCOTTISH TEAM DOESNT HAVE TO BE CHQANGED ENGLISH!!!! AS PEOPLE HAVE STATED PREVIOUSLY, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LOAD UP THE EDITOR, CLICK ON ANY LEAGUE COMPETITION, LOAD THE TEAMS THEN YOU CAN SWAP THEM WITH ANY LEAGUE TEAM IN THE WHOLE DATA BASE, THE COMPUTER DATABASE THEN AUTOMATICALLY RESETS THE TEAMS THAT HAVE SWAPPED INTO THAT LEAGUE..I HAVE PUT ALL THE SPL TEAMS INTO THE ENGLISH PREMIER, RENAMED THE COMPETION AND PUT MAN UTD ETC INTO THE SCOTTISH 3RD DIVISION WHERE THEY BELONG!!!

if its Celtic and Rangers you want to swap

make a edt file and put this in it

"SWAP_TEAMS" "1569" "737"
"SWAP_TEAMS" "1570" "734"

& make a ddt file and put this in it


"RETAIN_PLAYERS" "1569"
"RETAIN_PLAYERS" "1570"

put both files in CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db

and run a new game

you wont need the ddt file, as it loads up all the players as they are in the english leagues
