This cannot be considered cheating
| Due to the very nature of the scout (being able to see values which, would otherwise be hidden (PA, CA, actual sale values)) the use of such a utility in a game could be construed as cheating.
Of course, scouts have a dual purpose. To track changes in the game and its players. Quote: |
Will this feature be present in mcfm06?
| Due to the amount of work involved, I'll say no. Although we released a scout for CM4 so I can't completely rule it out!... Quote: |
If not, is there a FM 2006 Scout anywhere?

One could say that using FM Scout is cheating... -but then again, most times it seems like your competitors (the computer) finds ALL the ones with the highest pa...
So in order to make it fair, I don't think of it as cheating, one could use the program as a guide to make the game more fair...

Being able to see the definite value of a player IS cheating.
Being able to see how good they really are in terms of PA and CA is cheating.

Yes, it might take some fun off the game, but one must assume that the computer knows the values...
Mostly it seems like it.

Is there a guide located somewhere for mcfm? I'm just confused about the values! As an example 'a players natural fitness range between 1-20 but is set at 81'! Now what does that mean?! Is this good or bad?!

I'll try and create a guide (unless someone beats me to it and emails me one to distribute!).
It would be best if any and all comments go in the official MCFM06 thread from now on. http://community.sigames.com/eve/for...2/m/9872090481 |

What the need to ask about the release date for MCFM when it's already been released???
Please can you stop using this thread now as people will only think that they should post here.

Dan, this is has nothing to do with mcfm 06, but didnt wanna start a new thread. I am playing a game and i am in the 3rd month of my 3rd season as Liverpool. I have added myself into the game using the editor as a 17 year old potentially great player. Now, i am just coming good as im in my 3rd season and now i am 19, almost 20. Thing is, i went into the editor today, and edited myself, put myself a few years older, made myself an england international and added my playing history so i had played at liverpool since 1999-2000. I then set my contract at Real Madrid and a transfer fee in the history as 41 mill. I went back into my old game i was playing and looked at my history and i am a 19 year old who has played since 99-00. When i edited the history in the official editor it changed in the game i was playing before. Im still at Liverpool but with more history added. How has this done this????? I hope you understand what i mean as i think i lost myself.
