Hi there

after giving up on fm 2006 ive just gone down and bought a pre ownded copy of fm 2005.

Im looking for the best update possible ,Teams in the right divisons for this season,( west ham in premiershp etc -world wide ) All histories for competions correct ( chelski as champs, pool as european cup holders etc ) and Liverpool in the champ league this season as well as the other four qualifiers.

suggestions and links if possible

Put it in data\db directory in the Program Files location of FM.

Or put it in the db directory in the FM My Documents location and start FM with the command line pointing to it.

Download FM Command Wizard 1.5:

Go to the Database tab and choose 'Custom DB Location'.

This is all assuming that you actually do have a db folder in the My Documents folder. If you don't. The program should create one for you.

The default location of this directory is:

My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\db
