It is possible to create a complete new team, just click on the clubs menu in the editor then click create/add club, but ensure you have entered ALL the information in the fields, or it will not work.
the best thing to do for less experienced editor users is to edit an existing club.
Yes, that i've done it already, but i wish to put the teams i created in an already existant competition. The only way to put them in one is to swap them instead of another team?
Not that I'm aware of. I had hoped this would be possible with FM2006 as adding more teams to a division like Norwegian Third Division hardly can mess up things.
And if I remember correctly, it was possible in an earlier version of the game, however it might have been with Nygreen's editor though..
This is actually bugs me a bit too, as only teams from the Third Division ever can be promoted into the (playable) Second Division.
Perhaps this should have been possible to do with the use of ddt/edt files etc? That way you coulden't mess up you database, if there are problems then you could just delete that file.
I created a new team and swapped it with Sunderland in the Premiership...the only setback was I wasn't in the FA Cup competition...while the other competition works fine.
