Hi, i'm trying to make the Maltese League playable, so i've swapped all the teams plus those which i created instead of the belarussian teams. I've changed also the nationality of the league and the names. I've also created reserve teams for all the maltese teams cause in the belarus they have a reserve league. Everything seems fine but when the game is setting up it starts then quits to the desktop without any error message. Anyone knows what could be wrong?

happend to me when i tryed to...i think its something to do with the fact u made a playable league change the nation to a nation thats unplayable...hopefully the guy who made a super league might be able to help u

I am the guy who helped that guy to make the super league So you swap the teams but first change the nationality of the league and change the TLA in the editor in your case the Maltese TLA(3 leter name)which is MAL I think to the one Belorusia has BLR I think(see it in the editor) I hope this helps

sent him an email (he asked me by email), basically i sent him what SRKI said but I sent it before coming here and seeing that someone else has also said it.

:cool: That was basically I found out about this little piece of information, it was the last piece of the puzzle for my creation of super leagues (you told me many a long time ago for the 05 version... which had bugs in it due to english system having no closed leagues... hence the reason the 06 version came to light (i waited it out)!)

i tried that also but it's still crashing, it starts setting up, goes half way up trough setting up database, then crashes to the desktop without any error messages, could it have something to do with the teams or reserve teams? because belarus had the reserve team league, so i created a reserve team for all the maltese teams

maybe its something else that you have also done to make it crash... no need to create a reserve team, the game would do it automatically. Have you tried starting it from the beginning again, swapping the TLA over first, then nations of competitions etc.

When i came to a stumbling block, i started it again, took 1hr 30 mins to make euro super league and it then somehow it worked despite doing everything as before...

That's all i have got more to try now, i just hope i have a backup somewhere, im not keen on re-entering all the teams and players from scratch!!
