Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Does anyone else think the "training feature" is actually making any diffrernce to ingame player stats ?

Hi

In FM 2006 i done my own training schedules and also downloaded some too.I visibly noticed the effects of the training schedules throughout the seasons. However on FM2007 i have downloaded some and tried my own over a few seasons but for me the players stats are just random in terms of change(more so dropping than going up) also when i get a 160+ potential ability they are not progessing at all really,no where near the way they did on FM2006.Is it me or does it not matter playing with the training as it has little bearing on player stats which seem pretty random in this version of FM ?

Thank You

Training on FM07 is totally different and works different that it did on FM06.

Cleon but do you think with enough work on it you can actually make it work and make your young 160+ pa players stats actually reach their potential.

hi toshibakid have you got any plans to make another end game tactic as you did in FM06? i never got to try the 06 version, but for some reason in 07 i want to make keeping clean sheets a priority.

You what?

You told me training was exactly the same as FM2006 6 weeks ago.

Read your question, you asked about something else.

Quote:
I assume the training areas refer to the same attributes as before & I'm trying to assign 1 good coach for each area as before (which is difficult as my board dont think I should have more than 8 coaches in total) but it's not having much effect.
This part of the game is still the same, like I said

The question in this thread is more about stats and them not rising. And this as changed, once a player reaches full potential etc he no longer can get better stats.

LOL (seems like the same kind of question to me!)

On topic:

toshibakid, have you tried playing with a rich team to see how training goes with max-5 stars across the board, top facilities, etc..? Someone from SI recently posted the order-of-effect for trainers/facilities, etc., and I get the impression that you'll only see FM06-like progress with top training, and in the right amounts.

I also feel like training for positions is much more of a compromise this time. It seems difficult or impossible to train players in every stat and expect a rise.
