That is sound advice post patch IMO.

All out attack for example used to be useful sometimes to get back a goal at the end of a game.

Now you're much more likely to concede doing that in my experience.

I find max closing down and/or max time wasting very nice (actually regularly playing with those settings for whole matches). I haven't used it for 7.0.1 but pre-patch and for FM2006 it worked nicely.
