I would appreciate (cleon and the others mods) if this post was not closed down staright away as this is not a moan it is simple facts about the beautiful game (FM) we all love and free speech should never die. I have played this game on average 10-12 hrs a day since I bought it on the first day it was released. Until recently I was struggling to find a tactic that was consistent throughout the season and by juding other people on this forum I was not alone. 4 days ago I decided to come up with 2 forms of tactics which you can find on the topic heading 'experiment' which without going into to much detail of these, they were simply ridiculous but very successful. After 2 very good seasons I thought 'bingo' I've finally created something that works and is very consitent even though at least 1 of these tactics (attacking) would never be consitently used by a team in real life. Howver into season 3, the last 5 away games I have had at least 1 player has been sent off usually my keeper and even more frustrating I don't get the highlights of him being sent off the screen just flicks into my substitution mode with a red card next to my keeper, when the highlights comes back on, the opposition are taking the penalty from the incident I never saw and they always miss the penalty. I do not have a keeper to feild in my next game as all are banned which is quite frankly ridiculous and unrealistic. Therefore I would like to make a couple of points about the game I have played solidly over the last few months.

1. I am not asking for the game to be made easier, however I believe this game is very inconsistent and it is more luck than judgement whether you find a tactic and formation that works.
2. If you are not as fortunate as myself to come up with a ridiculous tactic that works, you have to watch 90 mins of every game tweaking here tweaking there to have any chance of becoming a success at this game and again it's more luck than judgement imo as can you honestly tell the difference between attacking 15 slider and 16? for example.
3. I honestly believe the AI cannot cope with the ridiculous tactic that I have created and therefore it is trying to balance it out by sending my players off for no reason or at least I cannot see the reason as the highlights do not show why my player was sent off.

These are a couple of many points I have made and will be sending them all to SI for there explanation. I honestly belive that SI have a duty to be more specific on topics such as tactics, training etc as imo the manual just does not explain in any detail what specifically these do. I believe this is what encourages people to cheat and try to create cheat traing and unbeatable tactics which defeats the object of the game for me. If they do not address these issues in the near future I believe people will walk away from this game and not return which would be a crying shame as this game has so many good things about it.

Again this is not a rant it is just some observations I have made from this game and form this forum and would appreciate if people could respond and share experiences.

i acrualy agree very much with you abaout inconsistency of this game. actualy onche it happened that every single deffender on my team was heavy injured in a mater of two days and when i say every deffender i mean every from my under 18 to my senior squad. and ofcourse i had to reload the hame

ive trest testing tactics, either by watching highlights of a match and reloading to tweak and compare, or with holiday option.

The damn problem is i can field same tactic twice and get totally different results and also totally different performance. This applies more to away games as opposition constantly swap player positions and formations randomly.

To be honest i like fm2006 more, i didnt cheat, but i could make a tactic that works far better home or away.

It's jus getting very frustrating, i have to change tactics every half a season coz it'll totally not work, especially away. And each tactic i have i must have like 10 variations just to adapt to the ever changing opposition.

There's so much more problems. but meh..
