Guys, I am really struggling to get consitency in my training.
At the start of a new season (beginning of july) I use a pre-season regime with high aerobic and strength. I then ween the players onto various other regimes towards the end of July. All of these regimes have more or less 50% sliders for Strength and aerobic). By the middle/end of August I have loads of green upward pointing arrows. All well and fine except that by the middle of september there are certain playes that suddenly have loads of red downward pointing arrows (ignoring any players who have had any injury problems).
I can't seem to find a consistent way to get these players to recover and get some green arrows again. Usually I have to rest them for a few days and then put them on a regime with very low strength and aerobic settings to try and let them work their way back into training. It usually takes about 1 month to get back to 'stability' (no green or red arrows). When I put them back onto one of the normal regimes some of them start turning green again but others just suddenly turn all red again and I bemused. What do I actually have to do to get these players to be consistent?
Any advise would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
