Hi, I've noticed that a few of the top goalkeeping coaches (Niedzwircki, Unzue, Jaro) have really good outfield coaching stats too. They get five star ratings in outfield training categories.
The problem is when you click on their profile screen and look at their staff roles Goalkeeping Coach is full and the Coach role is less than half.
Does this mean they'll be useless as outfield coaches or should I disregard the staff roles evidence?
Anyone had any experience of signing Goalkeeping coaches to fill outfield categories?
As far as I know (I have not tested this) the staff roles is only in reference in what they prefer doing. As far as I can tell it only effects how likely the staff member will accept a contract of a more lowly wanted staff role.
You could well be right, but they only want to join my club as outfield coaches not goalkeeping ones.
So by your reasoning wouldn't the reverse be true?
I've been signing cheapo coaches that make up the five stars in all training categories up to now but my young players don't seem to be improving much so I thought I'd go for better all round coaches. Bigger names if you will.
