I have been doing some work to find out what is the best response to keep players morale high.
Now at the moment its nowhere near complete and as yet I have not cross referenced to another club my findings so far to see if these work across the scale.
Infortunately this also can be in some arguments regarded to
A be a spoiler
B could be argued a cheat
especially thos who wish to read my results which I will print further down so those who wish not to do so stop reading after the line.
As this will in most certainly keep morale at the peak of superb. Unless the side is a struggling up against a fight to keep its fight bravely against relegation. In this instance players morale peak is very good.
What I have considered in the experiment is taken certain players parameters into consideration so conflicts are eliminated. These being
AGE, FORM, MORALE, PERSONALITY POSITION
Age what is deemed the peak age to positions may have a bearing on good or bad form.
Goalkeepers peak at ages of 31 and 35
defenders ages of 27 and 32
midfield ages of 27 and 32
attack ages of 26 and 31
form is the last 3 games the player has played added together.
Players who only have a morale below superb is taken to be considered for player interaction. No point praising or critising a player on superb morale.
Personality gives an indicator to what to how performance is seen to be good or bad.
As for position I in the mind this maybe an important factor to performance levels.
You just cannot expect a 19 year old to show consistant levels of 7 or 8's. However unless a rarety of an ambitious young pro.
All these are needed to consider what to say.
as an example an ambitious player at his peak with his age whose last 3 games are 8 8 9 = 25.
morale is okay. Well its likely he feels his manager not praising his efforts. Well you going to be delighted with his form.
now I will show what I found on an added thread to this.
This is purely for people to look at and help to find out if there is conflicts with the findings so far
Just want to add that I find praise and criticism extremely useful for both boosting morale and making friends. Criticism is definately easy to dish out since players in bad form are likely to have bad morale (less risk and more potential for morale improvement). Generally if you have a player with an average form of 5 over the last few games you can choose the most harsh option. If you choose the correct option for a couple of times with the same player he's likely to add you to favoured personnel.
have to agree every player since doing this experiment has my name as favourite personel. So its definalely a must for everybody to use this terrific feature.
I found its very rare to need to be angry and also very suprised consider the closeness of the form needs to be. in many cases its roughly
19 below.
20 acceptable
22 pleased
23 delighted
yet if the bottom is 3 * 4 =12 the maximum is 3 * 10 =30. Why its so close the scope and range. I supose SI wanted it to be less clearly obvious to what to do.
Although its far from finished not been cross referenced from my Grimsby. Its really time consuming and not always your in a position to use the feature.
finally I dont know how to make the grids better unfortunately
