The man is right FM is too hard for simple people.I don't want to win my every game with 10-0,but you don't know what means if FM 2007 is your first manager.Look what it is http://youtube.com/watch?v=bw1rqMlPY7M
FM 2007 is more realistic,but is ununderstandable.Sometimes you don't understand why you lose games.

Personally I fail to see the problem, I have my tactics, usually an attack one and a defence one. The defence one has been around since about Championship Manager 3; if it ain't broke don't fix springs to mind; though an effective attacking tactic escaped me till I tried every formation that made sense till I saw results, when I first used it I went on a nice big winning run so I've stuck with it ever since.
Though my main point is....I don't use the sliders. I slide it to attack if I want to push forward more or defend if I want to make my opponents beat themselves. I don't touch any others, never have, never needed to. I just took my local team Blackpool to the Championship in Season one, finished 3rd and won the playoffs ^_^
It's not as easy as it might sound though I'm only doing poorly so far this season becuase for 6 games in a row wrong desions have been made by the ref....all 6, bet you didn't know that one could happen.
But anyways that's all off the point. I don't touch the sliders and I've won everything there is to win on all ChampMan/FootballMan games and if I don't need to do it to win no one does, I'm sure moving them makes the game easier but if I had it any easier it'd be too easy for me.
Now if the stupid refs would stop robbing me of my deserved wins I'd be happy T_T
